Delivery & Shipping Options
While most new puppy parents will choose to come to meet us and pick up their puppy, we do understand that sometimes folks need a helping hand with travel arrangements. We currently offer two additional options: personal delivery or meeting you at our airport. Read below for a more detailed description of our options.
- Travel to Meet Us – We can meet within 1 hour of Kitty Hawk, NC free of charge. Our preferred usual meeting location would be a public space in Kitty Hawk, NC. Come visit the Outer Banks, NC and pick up your new family member! While it is not always an option (Please ask before making plans), we can travel to meet you at a public location in Elizabeth City NC, Columbia NC, or Chesapeake VA.
- Meeting you at ORF Norfolk Airport – We can meet you at our local airport in Norfolk, VA (ORF) free of charge. You can fly in, meet up with us at ticketing, and then return home on a return flight. Please talk with me prior to booking the flight as we need to verify we are available to drive to Norfolk, VA that day. You will be responsible for your own tickets and airline approved pet carrier. You are responsible for checking with the airline and making arrangements in advance as some airlines do not allow pets in cabin.
- Personal Delivery – We will personally deliver your puppy to you via driving for a rate of $1.00 per mile roundtrip. We will not deliver to your front door; we will deliver to a public location in the town of your choosing.
We do NOT allow shipping in cargo. We never had any issues with shipping in cargo, but the fear of not knowing who is handling our babies at all times has caused us to avoid this option. We do allow shipping in cabin though so your new family member can ride with you to fly back home.
